On October 24, 2024, Athens played host to a strategic meeting under the DocTalent4EU project, focusing on advancing doctoral education through collaboration and innovation. Representatives from the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iaşi (TUIASI) and the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) gathered to explore the potential of national and international partnerships, as well as strategies for promoting the Talent Management Centre (CMT-TUIASI).
Central to the discussions were the diverse opportunities offered by the CMT. Attendees delved into its comprehensive portfolio, which includes career planning, alumni engagement strategies, and draft collaboration protocols. A highlight was the unveiling of the training courses designed to build essential transversal skills, such as:
- Writing scientific papers,
- Perfecting pitch techniques,
- Crafting impactful presentations and posters,
- Managing state-of-the-art documentation and institutional resources.
The event underscored the importance of fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. A noteworthy outcome was NTUA doctoral supervisors being invited to deliver training sessions, expanding knowledge exchange and strengthening ties between the two institutions.
